The Natural History Museum is well known for its exhibitions being both entertaining and educational. These two aspects have formed the basis of its exhibition policy through its 120 years at South Kensington.
These two requirements can be seen as opposites and not always easy to satisfy. The Museum has responded in several different ways over its life. These responses inevitably reflect the era they are conceived in, but possess some common aims. |
